Most of us would want to start with a simple budget strat in the beginning stages of learning a guitar. Strats provide a great balance and it makes you feel quite comfortable while playing. Most of the guitar players buy strats not because many famous guitar players play them but because Strats give a good feel and sounds great when played. The following are some of the best budget Stratocasters:

Squier Affinity Stratocaster:

Squier Affinity Stratocaster has a larger headstock, and we do not know how far it is true, but many guitarists believe that the large headstock provides a better sustain to the guitar. The headstock also gives the guitar a distinct look. You can buy these guitars for less than $200, and some shops might also sell you the guitar along with an amplifier as a package deal for practise purposes. The squire Affinity is available in many colours, and you can also add a humbucker at the bridge if you do not prefer a single pickup coil. The guitar has a brilliant individual tone controls for both middle and neck pickups. It has standard die-cast tuners and 21 jumbo frets.

Squier Standard Stratocaster:

The Squier Standard Stratocaster has a slightly different body than the Affinity Stratocaster. You will have to spend around 50 dollars extra for this guitar, and this guitar again has a long headstock. The standard Stratocaster gives you a traditional vibe due to its wooden body, and it has a 22 fret fingerboard and a slimmer neck when compared to the Affinity Strat. You do not have much option when it comes to the colour of the guitar. It has a C-shaped neck and a twin-pivot Tremolo bridge.

Squier Classic Vibe Stratocaster:

The Squier Classic Vibe Stratocaster is a guitar which will suit anyone, and it feels so good when you play. The Classic Vibe is of great quality for such a low price. Classic Vibe Stratocaster has a smaller headstock when compared to Affinity and the Standard Stratocaster. The Classic vibe has a 21 fretboard, and it has better hardware when compared to the other two guitars mentioned. The classic vibe is about $300. For pick-up switching, the guitar has about five position blade. The chrome hardware is what makes the guitar a bit pricier than the other ones.

G&L Limited Edition Tribute Legacy:
